Transfers to the account 

In order to transfer securities to a Swissquote account, you need to send an instruction letter (Transfer order form) to your bank, requesting a transfer to your IBAN account. 

Securities transfers to the Swissquote account are free of charge. 

Please note that we do not provide custodians information to clients.

Transfers out of the account 

To transfer securities out of the account, please send this form via the contact form or by post to:

• Securities transfers to another financial institution are charged at EUR/USD/CHF 50 per line. For example, 10 UBS and 30 MSFT are charged CHF 50 and USD 50.
• Securities transfers to another Swissquote account are free. Written instruction as indicated above is still required.

Updating the Unit Cost

In order for us to update the unit cost, please send us a copy of a bank statement indicating the initial purchase price (or purchase confirmation).

Please upload the documents via the contact form or in 'My account (profile icon)' (top‑right menu) > 'Messages' > “Create”.

Please contact the Customer Care Center by telephone for login problems. For security reasons, telephone authentication is needed.

Your first deposit plays an important role in our identity verification process when opening your account. For this reason, your initial deposit must meet the following requirements:

• The transfer must come from a licensed bank.
• The sending account must be in your name.
• The sending account must be located in of the countries listed here*:

Once we've processed and approved your initial deposit, these specific limitations will no longer apply to future deposits.
