Yes, you can open more than one account with us. A new application form needs to be completed and is available by clicking here.

The first account holder completes a new application online by clicking here. You will then need to return the following:

• A signed contract from the first account holder
• The joint account holder agreement available here
• A copy of your Passport or EU ID Card for each account holder
• Proof of residency for each account holder
• Proof of origin of the funds you will invest

Please note the first transfer to your account must come from an account held in your name - either a transfer from each of your individual accounts, or one transfer from a joint account -  in one of the countries in this list. If you do not hold an account in one of these countries you will need to provide a certified passport copy.

The following documents are accepted:

• Utility Bill* (e.g., a bill for electricity, gas, water, landline or mobile telephone, Internet, or TV)
• Council tax bill*
• Home insurance bill*
• Bank, mortgage, insurance, brokerage or credit card statement* from a financial institution in one of the countries in this list
• Government issued letters or statements* (e.g., a property tax bill, confirmation of residential address from the local authorities or a pension statement)
• Residence permit
• Driver’s license or national identity cards showing address. (If you use your national identification card as proof of identity, it cannot also be used as proof of address.)

The document should show your name and current residential address. Documents marked with * must be less than 3 months old.

The insurer is Baloise Vie Luxembourg (product designer), and the contract is distributed by Swissquote Bank Europe SA (product distributor), an insurance agent of Baloise Vie Luxembourg.

Triangle of security

The triangle of security is the legal protection mechanism put in place by the Luxembourg regulator to protect the assets representing the insurance company's commitments. It takes the form of a tripartite agreement between the insurance company, the custodian bank and the Commissariat aux Assurances.

The insurance company must deposit the assets representing its commitments in an account separate from its own assets with a custodian bank approved by the Commissariat aux Assurances. The CAA then carries out regular checks on the insurance company's provisions.

Super Privilege

This privilege is granted to the policyholder in the event of the insurer's default and means that the policyholder has priority over any other creditor of the company in recovering its assets - in particular the State, social security bodies, shareholders and employees.

Tax Neutrality

No tax friction due to holding a Luxembourg policy. The policyholder will be taxed according to their tax residence.
