Mobile Level 3, our two-factor authentication login, is the direct counter to phishing’s heavy reliance on password theft. By setting it up, you’ll receive a unique Mobile Level 3 access code on your smartphone, valid only for each login, thus adding a supplementary shielding layer to your banking ecosystem.

To enhance your security, our emails now display a verification badge to confirm that we are the real sender. This seal appears next to our email address. When you see this badge, it confirms that the message is indeed from Swissquote. The list of email services compatible with this badge is available here.

In addition to the absence of the verification badge, other indicators can help you spot a suspicious message.

Check that the email address matches exactly that of Swissquote and contains no discrepancies.

Make sure that the links do not contain any unusually long URLs or a suspicious extension.

Check that the address matches the official website and contains no discrepancies.
It is important to cross-check these various items: a fraudulent message may seem authentic in one way and contain inconsistencies in another. However, the verification badge remains the key indicator.
There are some behaviours and requests that blatantly contradict our security guidelines. Be immediately suspicious if you receive any type of communication from a source posing as Swissquote if it asks you to:
Reveal account credentials or card details (login, passwords, Level 3 code, banking information)
Connect to websites that are not endorsed by Swissquote*
Install AnyDesk or any remote access software
Call Swissquote on a new telephone number
Transfer your money to anyone without your consent
Make a transfer to a third-party bank account, or hand over cash
Carry out a "test" transaction online
Connect to your device remotely
Take quick decisions under pressure, especially through unsolicited messages
Download an attachment or install any type of software
*Swissquote’s official apps are: Swissquote, CFXD. Make sure to download them from the official App Store and/or Google Play.
